Our Mission Statement
“The South Humber Racial Equality Council is working towards a just society that gives everyone an equal opportunity to learn, work and live free from discrimination, prejudice and from the fear of racial harassment and violence” The South Humber Racial Equality Council (SHREC) website offers a greater number of individuals across North Lincolnshire a chance to access information and services online without the hassle of coming into the office.
The staff working from the SHREC office provide free and confidential advice on a wide range of matters relating to equality issues, benefits, housing, education, training and genaral advice on life in the UK.
In the majority of cases our staff will endevour to resolve any of our service users problems however we also recognise that sometimes our clients need to be signposted to a more relevant organisation. We can only do this effectively by working very closely with the statutory, voluntary, private and public sector organisations to ensure an appropriate service is delivered.
Our office is open Monday - Friday from 10am to 4pm. We look forward to serving you.
